This course focuses on essential clinical laboratory practices and diagnostic techniques. Students will gain hands-on experience in biochemical estimations, tissue processing, staining, urinalysis, stool, sputum, semen, CSF, and body fluid analyses. The course emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and development of practical skills necessary for clinical laboratory technology. By the end of the course, students will be competent in routine clinical lab procedures and maintain a comprehensive practical notebook.
MLT-403 Chemical Pathology (IV)
4th Semester MLT
Chemical Pathology explores the vital role of laboratory testing in the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases through analysis of body fluids such as urine, blood, CSF and other specimens.

This course combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills in sample collection, biochemical analysis and result interpretation enabling students to understand disease processes at the biochemical level.

Designed for BS MLT students, it builds strong competency in clinical diagnostics, laboratory techniques, and accurate reporting essential for modern healthcare laboratories.
