DPT-406 Behavioral Sciences (Psychiatry & Psychology) (IV)
4th Semester
Behavioral science is an important subject for Allied health science students as it helps them understand how psychological, social, and cultural factors influence health, illness, and patient behavior. By studying behavioral science, students learn how to build strong therapist–patient relationships, encourage positive health behaviors, manage stress, and improve rehabilitation outcomes. It also emphasizes empathy, ethical practice, and understanding individual differences, enabling future physiotherapists to provide holistic and patient-centered care.
